My heart is with those who tirelessly care for others—a role I know well as a geriatric care nurse and special needs mom. It’s easy to put your needs last, swapping nutritious food, exercise, and rest for the constant demands of caregiving.

I’ve been there, relying on comfort food and neglecting my health, which led to chronic issues, poor sleep, and burnout. I realized I needed to change things to stay healthy for my family and enjoy life to its fullest. Through diet, strength training, stress management, and better sleep, I reversed my health challenges and now feel more energetic than ever.

As an AHNCC Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I’m passionate about helping anyone - especially caregivers - overcome obstacles and achieve long-lasting changes. 

In my personal life, I have been married for 31 years and have two sons in their 20's and a sweet lab mix named Zoey. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, music, reading, traveling, walking, hiking, and going to all kinds of live entertainment (theater, concerts, Carolina Hurricanes games, etc.!)
